    We'll also briefly discuss the assignment for Paper #1 (see Paper #1 assignment site, print out, and bring to class)

  • 10/26 Poetry Group 3 presents on Joy Harjo's "I Give You Back," Louise Erdrich's "Dear John Wayne," Debra Swallow's "Keep a Dime," and Chrystos' "I Make the Fire" (available from library course reserve "Collection 4: Native-American Women")

  • 10/25 film Life and Times of Frida Kahlo shown on campus; 10/26 film Frida shown on campus: quiz points for attending either screening and writing a brief reaction
